About This Jenna Fischer
"I don't have real big aspirations to be a movie star. I would love to be on a long-running hit TV show. You end up playing a defining role."
- Jenna Fischer

Jenna Fischer is most famous for her performance in NBCâ's slow-burning comedy series, The Office. Jenna is part of an excellent ensemble cast which includes Steve Carell and Rainn Wilson.

Donâ't get us wrong, Jenna Fischer's very attractive, but sexy? Well, the fact that she was told she wasnâ't â'hot enoughâ' to warrant a callback to Alias -- despite the fact that they thought she was talented -- tells you she doesnâ't necessarily ooze sex appeal. Granted, she might be able to vamp it up if the role required it, but itâ's doubtful based on her body of work that sheâ'd be called upon to play a sex kitten.

Jennaâ's never going to be in the same category as a Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley or Scarlett Johansson. But big deal! Sheâ's funny and talented, which offsets her lack of innate sex appeal.

Jenna Fischerâ's been a steady hard worker. Plugging away in small roles in Cold Case, Miss Match, Undeclared, Six Feet Under, and numerous others, she has quite the resume.

Her hard work started to pay off with the gradual success of The Office for which Jenna Fischer and the rest of the outstanding cast received an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series.

Jenna Fischer started to make her mark on the silver screen with roles in Slither (2006), Blades of Glory (2007) and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007). And her role in comedic genius Bob Odenkirkâ's The Brothers Solomon (2007) surely raised her comedic cache as well.
Jenna Fischer was born on March 7, 1974, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but she grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating from Nerinx Hall High School, Jenna attended Truman State University. While initially aspiring to attend law school, Jenna Fischer went for a bachelor's degree in theater instead.
